Overview

Coincurve delivers Bitcoin and virtual currencies to your personal wallet within a few clicks of a button. No need sign up for an account. Our prices are cheap and fees are transparent. You can rest assured that you have full control and own your coins at the end of the day.

Coincurve is only available in Canada, Australia (BETA) and Philippines (BETA).

You must be a resident of Canada, Australia or the Philippines to use Coincurve.

Bitcoin’s mission is to become the global digital currency for finance, commerce and payments. Other virtual currencies may share the same vision, but have different technological characteristics to achieve the same mission.

Ultimately, store of value comes from utility and use. This is why we only offer virtual currencies that are actually spendable and globally accepted​.

There are no immediate urgencies to add more digital currencies at the moment.

Yes. We are registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FINTRAC: M19915056. We take compliance very seriously and follow strict policies.

TROUBLESHOOT

After receiving your payment, Coincurve is required to verify your information before we can deliver you the coins. This process can take up to 3 hours. Please be patient and review the Terms of Service.

The blockchain can also experience high network traffic at times, that are outside of Coincurve’s control. If your transaction was successful, and you have received a blockchain transaction ID on your receipt, we have already sent your coins to your wallet. You will receive your coins once the blockchain confirms the transaction.

If you haven’t received your coins after 24 hours, please Contact Us.

Please Contact Us immediately as blockchain transactions are irreversible.

Entering a wrong address whether sending or receiving will result in the loss of coins. Coincurve is NOT responsible for your mistakes resulting in the loss of your coins.

No, we do not offer refunds. Please review the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.​

The most common reasons are:

  1. We didn’t receive your payment within 1 hour after payment instructions have been sent.
  2. The data you provided did not meet our compliance requirements.
  3. Purchase and payment amount are not the same.

If you have sent us a payment via e-Transfer, this payment has not been processed and you may cancel it from your online banking to have your funds returned.

If you have sent us a payment via Flexepin, this voucher has not been redeemed.

Some issuer banks have their own terms regarding where and when those cards can be used, and may decline the charge on their side.

Coincurve follows strict compliance rules to validate and protect our customers. Every transaction is unique and goes through a security validation.

Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to submit additional personal identification to meet compliance requirements.

Once your transaction has been approved, we will send you an email with Coincurve’s receiving wallet address.

You must send the EXACT amount and the proper coin within 1 hour to our wallet address after receiving this email. If we do not receive your payment within 1 hour, your order will be cancelled.

Note: Always double check that you are sending the right coin to our wallet. Sending us incorrect coins or wrong address may result in a loss of coins which are unrecoverable. Coincurve is NOT responsible for your mistakes that result in the loss of coins.

We process at zero-conf to move the transaction along as quickly as possible. In most cases, it should take under 30 minutes.

However, it may take longer if there is high transaction volume in the network.

You must have a valid Canadian mobile number, personal email, personal identification, a Bitcoin Wallet and access to INTERAC e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard or Flexepin to pay for the coins.​

Yes. Coincurve follows strict compliance rules to validate and protect our customers.

We need to ensure you are making the transaction for your own behalf, and not others. Thus, a photo of you holding a government issued ID assures all of your provided information matches your payment information.

Valid Canadian Government ID:

  • Drivers License issued in Canada
  • Canadian Passport
  • Certificate of Canadian Citizenship (with photo)
  • Permanent Resident Card

You are required to enter a valid, personal email address.

Personal email address acts as a credible identifier and as an immediate way for us to notify you of instructions and transaction statuses.

Yes. Receipts will be sent to your email.

We service all Canadian Provinces.

Coincurve is strictly for personal use.

The purpose of our service is strictly for personal use of buying, selling and spending Bitcoin & other virtual currencies.

Do not enter a wallet address or an email that does not belong to you. While transactions on the blockchain are pseudonymous, Coincurve prohibits the use of our service to (1) pay others in Bitcoin & virtual currencies, (2) purchase Bitcoin & virtual currencies on behalf of others, (3) sell Bitcoin & virtual currencies for others, or (4) sell Bitcoin & virtual currencies to pay others. Doing so may leave you vulnerable to scams and violates our Terms of Service. Any funds lost in such transactions will not be refunded as they cannot be reversed on the blockchain.

WALLETS & ADDRESSES

A bitcoin wallet​ is a digital software wallet that holds your Bitcoins.​

Yes. There are many types of wallets that you can set up. The three most common types of wallets are:

  • A web wallet is a wallet ​that you can signup online to use as your personal Bitcoin bank. These wallets are easy to setup and are generally secure.

  • A software wallet is a software that you can download on your computer. Software wallets are usually more complicated to manage but can provide more security.

  • A hardware wallet is a physical device similar to a USB thumb drive. Hardware wallets are more expensive but can provide the most security for your Bitcoins.

Yes. Most web or software wallets are free.

Hardware wallets vary in price, but usually cost around $100 CAD.

No. We believe that Bitcoin is about control. Therefore, our customers should have full control of their Bitcoins and the freedom of selecting their own wallets.​

For ultimate security, we recommend reputable hardware wallets such as Trezor or Nano Ledger.

Web wallets are less recommended. If you must use one, we recommend blockchain.com

Note that Coincurve is not affiliated or associated with any of these companies and/or services. These are strictly general market recommendations.

No! All virtual currencies (eg: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin) are completely different currencies and have unique wallets that can NOT be shared or reused between different virtual currencies.

You will lose your coins if you use the wrong wallet!

As an additional note, even Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are also entirely different virtual currencies. They have completely different wallets and can’t be used interchangeably.

Once you create wallet of your choice, you can generate multiple receiving public addresses. These public addresses can be safely shared with ​Coincurve to send coins to your personal wallet.

No. Addresses are unique to its originated virtual currency. Please always double check that you are entering the correct wallet address corresponding to your intended wallet.

Example:

A Bitcoin address is NOT the same address as a Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum or Litecoin address, and can NOT be used interchangeably.

Yes. ​We do not hold your coins, you do! Once Coincurve has verified your information and sent coins to your personal wallet, you have full control of your coins.

Interac E-Transfer

INTERAC e-Transfer is a convenient way to send money or receive money to a Canadian bank account. All you need is access to online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution. Then, you can send money to an email address or mobile phone number without sharing any personal financial information.

Yes. It’s as quick as sending an email.​

In most cases, it should only take under 30 minutes to process your INTERAC e-Transfer. However, it may take up to 3 hours if there is a high transaction volume, as we need to verify your information and payment.

Coincurve is NOT responsible for your funds or any additional fees from your bank or INTERAC once we have sent you an INTERAC e-Transfer payment to your provided email.

In most cases, INTERAC e-Transfer is free to receive money. However, your bank and institution may charge you fees for using INTERAC e-Transfer such as sending, receiving and auto-depositing.

Coincurve is NOT responsible for any fees incurred by you and/or your bank from using INTERAC e-Transfer. Please contact your bank/institution for more information.

Visa / Mastercard

Yes.

Coincurve only recommends using a Canadian Dollars (CAD) credit card.

All purchases through Coincurve are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). If you use a non-Canadian Dollars card, your bank will likely charge you foreign exchange fees.

Visa / Mastercard purchases may incur fees more than 8% if you purchase below $200 CAD worth of Bitcoins & other virtual currencies.

Your bank may also consider virtual currency transactions as cash advance and charge you interest. Coincurve has no control over your bank’s actions and we not responsible of any additional fees that occur outside of a Coincurve transaction.

Depending on the amount you wish to purchase, you may be required to provide personal information including government ID and a selfie to comply with compliance and regulatory policies.

To be compliant, our processors may increase or decrease their limits without notice.

It is recommended that you follow Coincurve’s purchase limits.

Our processing partner automatically stores your account information making it convenient for future purchases using your card.

To Sign Out, click the ‘MENU’ button to Log out once you have completed your purchase.

Flexepin

Flexepin is like cash. You can use it​ to purchase online merchandise and pay utility bills.

If you don’t prefer to use your bank or credit card for purchases, Flexepin can be used as an alternative payment method. There are many global shops that accept Flexepin.​ Please visit the Flexepin website for more information.

Flexepin vouchers can be Purchased Online or at Physical Stores in Canada.

The price ​varies depending on the store and the amount you wish to buy. It is typically 5 – 10% of the voucher’s CAD amount.

No. Flexepin vouchers are one-time use. To protect our customers, Coincurve does not allow partial amounts to be spent from Flexepin vouchers.

No. Only CAD Flexepin vouchers are accepted.​

eGift Cards

Visit Coincurve.com and click the ‘SPEND BITCOIN’ button to look at a variety of gift cards that we offer.

EGift Cards are only valid and redeemable in Canada.

Yes, we are continually expanding our eGift Card selection. If there is a eGift Card you would like us to add, please Contact Us​.

Once we have received your payment in Bitcoin, we will send you the eGift Card directly from the eGift Card provider to your email address as an electronic gift card. Please ensure that the email address you provide is correct or you will not receive your eGift Card. We do not provide physical eGift Card at this moment.
